    What are the required documents?

    The Mali BSC (Bordereau de Suivi des Cargaisons) Certificate is a mandatory cargo tracking document for all shipments to Mali. It contains essential shipment details for customs clearance, trade monitoring, and security. Without a valid BSC, cargo may face fines, delays, or rejection upon arrival at Malian entry points.

    According to this law, every cargo purchased from abroad and transported for commercial, business, in some cases, diplomatic and personal purposes require a Loading Certificate called BSC – Bordereau de Suivi des Cargaisons.
    The shipper or the freight forwarder is responsible for acquiring the BSC waiver certificate from the authorized representative.

    The BSC certificate must be presented five days after the departure of the vessel or five days before the ship arrives at the latest. If you don’t meet these requirements, you will be facing a fine twice the amount of the cost of the BSC certificate plus the regulation charge determined by the Mali National Shippers Council.
