What is a Cameroon BESC Certificate?
The Cameroon BESC (Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons) Certificate is a mandatory cargo tracking document for shipments to Cameroon. Issued before departure, it contains essential cargo details, ensuring compliance with regulations. Without it, penalties or shipment delays may occur. It helps authorities monitor trade, enhance security, and streamline logistics.

Who Needs a Cameroon BESC?
- Exporters & Shippers – Businesses or individuals shipping goods to Cameroon must obtain a BESC certificate before departure.
- Freight Forwarders & Logistics Companies – Responsible for ensuring compliance with Cameroonian regulations and obtaining the BESC for their clients.

The BESC certificate must be validated five days before the vessel arrives at the latest. If it isn’t validated, by then, you’d have to pay twice the amount of the BESC cost plus the regulation charges determined by the Cameroon National Port Officials.
Certificate cost depends on the number of Bill of Ladings and the containers, the country of origin, the port of discharge, etc. This is why we can’t give you an exact price for the CTN. But if you share your shipment’s details with us we can provide you the best charges for your certificate. We offer free quotation.
